Yin yoga is a series of poses held in stillness for extended periods of time with support so muscles can release. .
The body responds to long supported holds by lengthening tight tissues to create flexibility and putting the tissues under just enough pressure to strengthen them creating safer joint movement. .
Follow your breath, not your mind. .
